The Blankini is billed as “a revolutionary new blanket that will end the tug-of-war that happens between couples” in bed.
Until now, couples afflicted with divergent preferences for sleeping temperatures have had to wrestle blankets back from their partner or use a second blanket for one.
But the new design of the Blankini allows one person to flip the blanket down without disrupting the other, allowing both people to sleep in their ideal temperature.
“The Blankini solves the problem of sharing a blanket with your loved one and still making sure you stay as comfortable as possible,” says Jon Hall, the company’s president. “The Blankini is a soft, cuddly blanket that is divided down the middle, giving each person the ability to pull it up, down or over, without disturbing your partner.”
Now there is no reason to spend money on additional blankets or space heaters. The Blankini’s design securely keeps the blanket in one piece if desired, and easily opens to provide optimal flexibility.
“I bought a Blankini last month and it has become irreplaceable in my house,” says Stephanie Young, a mother of three kids under eight, who often finds herself uncomfortable when sharing the bed with her husband through the night.
“The Blankini has allowed my husband to stay cool and comfortable, while the kids and I stay nice and warm. There is no more arguing over who gets what blanket.”
Hall says the Blankini is not just for the bedroom: its all-in-one design makes it ideal for camping trips, open air concerts or watching movies together.
Released in time for Valentine’s Day, the blanket is sold in Queen and King sizes, and can be bought online at Amazon.
