Minnesota sports accessory company FYVFY has invented a super lightweight basketball shoe cover worn to and from the court to ensure basketball players preserve and protect their original shoe grip.
Already available online The FY-Deny will soon be distributed through basketball training facilities across the US.
The grip of basketball shoes deteriorates rapidly when exposed to the outside elements – and even walking into a bathroom, lunchroom, or anywhere indoor where dust accumulates, can affect the grip over time. Serious basketball players know how important grip is when playing: when you don’t have grip, you can literally break an ankle, says a company spokesperson. So they don’t wear their shoes off court. But changing shoes is time-consuming.
Not now: the FY-Deny zips on and off in seconds, protects against the elements, saves time changing at the gym, saves money on replacing worn shoes, adapts to a wide range of styles and sizes, and folds up easily for basketball bag storage.
A single pair of FY-Deny covers multiple shoe sizes and they are durable and machine washable.
