Jura’s new coffee machine can make 15 types of coffee on demand, ranging from espresso to flat white.
The Jura S8 features a 4.3-inch high-resolution touch screen control panel, complete with graphics and animation to guide the user, illustrating every step of the process.
And it is the first of Swiss company Jura’s models to include caffe latte as a one-touch milk specialty, and hot water for green tea – which steeps at a lower temperature than black tea.
Tennis legend Rodger Federer is clearly impressed – he appears in this funny video endorsing the machine…:
Given its sophistication (and here, we are talking about the S8, not Rodger), it’s not surprising the machine has already received two prestigious international design awards this year: the Reddot Design Award and the IF Design Award.
Jura believes the new S8 has created a whole new segment in the automatic coffee machine market: the premium mid-range. It says its technology produces high-quality beverages, sufficient to satisfy the most demanding coffee connoisseur. The machine’s grinder is twice as fast and trademarked Pulse Extraction Process ensures optimum flavour.
And a new-generation fine-foam frother takes the guesswork out of creating latte macchiato and other beverages with the very best fine-textured foam.
Jura’s new coffee machine is designed with a luxurious look to lift the ambience of any kitchen, finished in chrome and styled with a professional, industrial look.
Jura coffee machines range in price from US$799 through to $5499, with the Jura S8 on sale online for $2650.
