Japanese chocolatier Royce is famous for its exotic indulgent treats, delighting those of us with a sweet tooth across its rapidly-expanding chain of retail stores across Asia.
Each year, the company releases a Valentine’s Day special edition product – and this time around, it’s the ultimate indulgence for wine-lovers.
Royce has crafted a gooey mass of wine-filled fresh ganache chocolate pudding, served in a little chocolate pot with a lid. The filling comes in two layers – the upper half with Italian San Giorgio Rosso Del Umbria red wine, and the lower half with Austrian Nieusiedlersee Trocken Beeren Auslese white.
It comes with two spoons to ensure it can be shared by two.
Called the Precious, the romantic treat sells for 3294 yen, which equals about US$29.80.
Of course, if it’s sold out by the time you get to your nearest Royce store, you can always stock up on their famous chocolate-covered potato crisps…
