Are you feeling irritable, wimpy – or simply indecisive? Snickers has the solution: a new limited edition range of variations of its popular chocolate snack to suit any of the three moods.
Espresso, Fiery and Salty & Sweet will join the popular “Hunger Bar” campaign and all the ingredients fans love about Snickers – peanuts and caramel covered in milk chocolate, now with a bold new flavour-infused nougat – espresso, hot pepper or salted caramel-flavour.
Espresso is labelled Irritable, the Fiery (with chilli) labelled Wimpy and for the Indecisive: the Salty & Sweet variant.
“Snickers knows that when you’re hungry, you lose your flavour and turn into your less desirable self,” said senior brand manager, Michael Italia – as if we were supposed to know that all along…
“Our new flavors paired with hunger symptoms provide an extended dimension to show how Snickers ultimately satisfies when hunger strikes.”
Sadly, the new bars won’t go on sale until June 2018 – and then only in the US
Brand owner Mars Confectionery plans to support the launch through a variety of 360 marketing tactics including in-store promotions, consumer activations, and social media.
