The new Womanizer 2GO looks like an elegant lipstick, and, as such, disappears unobtrusively into any handbag or backpack.
It is light (weighing just 130g) and ideally suited for transportation, with a rectangular shape that measures 125 × 35 × 35 mm.
And it could possibly be a girl’s best friend: a perfectly camouflaged, compact device which – according to its makers – delivers a climax which “feels different and very powerful”.
Unlike traditional sex toys, like the Jack Rabbit, made infamous by Sex in the City, stimulation is not achieved via penetration or vibration. The Womanizer is not inserted into or placed on top, or even touching the body.
So-called “Pleasure Air Technology” provides stimulation by directing air flow over the clitoris. The user can regulate the airflow to ensure there is no such unpleasantness from “over-stimulation of the clitoris”.
“Therefore, many women can have several orgasms within a short time,” explains founder Michael Lenke, 68, an inventor with more than 100 global patents to his name.
A few years ago, Lenke read a study about the status of women’s difficulties in achieving orgasm, so he decided to offer – well – not a helping hand as such…
It took Lenke 18 months to develop and test the device “in his workshop and bedroom at home” in Metten, a village in Lower Bavaria with a very content population of 4000. His wife was happy to lend a helping… well, we’ve been there already…
The Lenkes say the reaction to the product so far has been “overwhelming”. Satisfied users are sending fan mail and even gifts.
The Womanizer 2GO costs euro159. It comes in black and gold; ivory and gold; or mint and pink.
